Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Assists other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (for example, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment) according to company policies and procedures. Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
Diagnoses refrigeration and electrical problems by utilizing technical drawings (for example, blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (for example, multi-meters, laptops). Troubleshoots and repairs complex ammonia refrigeration system problems with equipment, logic controls and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious. Operates refrigeration system equipment (for example, compressors, fan units).
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration system equipment by following original equipment manufacturer instructions and standard operating procedures. Cleans or prevents issues pertaining to hazardous materials as a member of the Haz-Mat team. Monitors work areas for safety concerns according to written procedures and takes appropriate action as needed.
Completes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents utilizing established procedures.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.30-$31.30*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
