The opportunity 
Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Home Buying Valuation Risk & Compliance team to help deliver the best valuation experience for our home loan customers and evolve to the world’s best end to end valuation process.

The role is exciting and challenging. You will have the ability to expand your knowledge base, review valuations nationwide and broaden your mortgage security valuation expertise. You'll be part of an inspiring team surrounded by great people that focus on continuous improvement and innovation of our valuation services and risk identification controls while always maintaining a high level of service delivery.

What will my day look like?

  • Be a part of a national valuation team.
  • Sink your teeth into some exciting new valuations projects.
  • Delivering excellent customer outcomes and communicate effectively with clients & colleagues.
  • Leverage your property knowledge by presenting and providing insights to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure a balanced and considered approach to residential property and property risks
  • Engage with valuation industry and key internal stakeholders
  • Identify and manage emerging valuation and property risks
  • Gather, organise and analyse information from various sources
  • Assist with improving our Valuation Quality Assurance & the Quality Control processes through valuation compliance and quality reviews, control testing, and reporting
  • Assist us in meeting our regulatory requirements
  • Provide National residential valuation subject matter advice and training

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in residential valuations
  • An strong understanding of ABFI Residential Valuation Standing Instructions
  • Ability to use data driven insights to solve problems
  • Be a team player
  • Passion for driving excellent customer service and high quality outcomes
  • Membership with the Australian Property Institute
  • Be either a recent property Graduate, Registered Property Valuer (RPV) or AAPI Certified Practising Valuer (AAPI CPV).
