The position of Stock Controller in the Retail Department at M-KOPA involves effective inventory management, exceptional customer service, and efficient shop operations. In this role, you will ensure smooth inventory processes, support Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs) and customers, and maintain the shop's professional standards.
Your key responsibilities will center around managing stock. This includes conducting daily stock counts by scanning IMEIs and collaborating with the audit team to ensure reconciliation. You will allocate stock to DSRs daily and follow up on any devices that have been in the field longer than necessary. Safe and secure storage of inventory is critical, and you will need to ensure all items are kept in appropriate lockers or stores.
Additionally, you will manage the receipt of stock from the main warehouse and return any excess or unused stock on time. Upholding established stock management policies will be a core part of your routine.
Beyond inventory, you will serve as a crucial point of support for customers visiting the shop. Whether assisting with upgrade processes, resolving inquiries, or escalating complex issues, your commitment to excellent customer service will be vital. You will ensure all customer interactions are logged appropriately and adhere to existing phone or customer service processes.
Maintaining a welcoming and organized shop environment is another important aspect of this role. You will be responsible for keeping the shop clean and free from clutter while ensuring the lockers and storage areas are well-labeled. Additionally, it will be your job to ensure the shop’s signage is always in place and presentable.
