AIG is committed to ensuring the security of its employees and providing a safe and secure workplace.  The AIG Global Security team is focused on Physical Security, Security Operations, Executive Protection, and Investigations. The Global Investigations Division conducts investigations into physical security related incidents as well as the investigation of external (non-claims) related fraud and scams aimed at the firm.

How you will create an impact

  • Conducting and effectively managing confidential investigations into high-risk physical security incidents that may result in impact to staff or the business.
  • Directing and effectively managing investigations into external related fraud or scams aimed at the firm.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team environment, dependent on type of case, and ensure that any joint investigations with other teams are well directed and managed from inception to conclusion.
  • Maintaining appropriate data and records as well as management and maintenance of the Global Investigations Manual and ensure compliance of use in the case management system.
  • Maintain contacts with relevant industry specialists, industry associations and police/law enforcement on all levels.
  • Support the Global Security Operations team as needed, which may include assistance with Executive Protection/Event Protection duties, Site Security Assessments and response to significant incidents or events.

What you will need to succeed

  • A strong track record of conducting investigations within a security or police/law enforcement environment.
  • Proven experience in managing investigations and directing case work.
  • A high-level knowledge base of conducting desk-top investigations and using data to support case work.  
  • Having knowledge of and maintaining access to, Country/Federal, Province/State and Local level Joint Task Forces and Police/Law enforcement agencies.
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong capabilities for data entry and customer service (use of Power BI, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and e-mail).
  • Capable of efficient and organized multitasking with the ability to work under time constraints, meeting deadlines.
  • Travel and extended work hours may be required from time to time.
