What you will do

Do you have HVAC experience? We are looking for HVAC systems mechanics who have worked in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment.

Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry. You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.

Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.

How will you do it

  • Mechanics must have practical working experience in light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment. May be required to satisfactorily pass an examination to identify special skills.
  • Scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service.
  • Servicemen may partner with Journeymen in the repair of Roof Top units, Air Handling units, Boiler Systems and other HVAC systems including VAV, VFD’s and other peripheral devices.
  • Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions. Startup and warranty of York HVAC equipment. Training can be provided.

What we look for

Required

  • Five (5) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mechanical journeyman status preferred
  • Seven (7) years of Commercial and or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry
  • Refrigeration Certification preferred
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
