About the role

As a Senior Accountant, Record to Report – Intercompany, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of core accounting activities. Your work will directly support Carrier’s financial reporting and internal control objectives, helping us maintain compliance and deliver high-quality results. You’ll collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline processes and support critical projects that impact our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:

• Performing and reporting on specific RTR activities (mainly Intercompany) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Supporting internal and external audit activities through control reporting
• Delivering analytics and insights for RTR-related projects
• Managing balance sheet activities and reconciliations
• Following accounting policies, procedures, and control processes to ensure compliance
• Communicating effectively with internal and external business partners
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing, and compliance activities
• Confirming procedures and controls align with US GAAP and corporate policies

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience with Intercompany accounting
• Familiarity with SOX compliance
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience working in a multinational environment
