General Description:
Under general supervision, provides PICC Line Placement and Infusion education in the PICC program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred. Successful completion of “Vascular Access Device Selection, Insertion and Management” online course offered by Bard Access Systems within six months of hire.
Experience: One (1) year experience with PICC Line placement preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have current knowledge of nursing role in PICC Line placement. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills. Some computer skills.
