What this role is all about

As a Routing Junior Engineer, you’ll own the quality of messaging routes across providers, networks, and clients—so our customers get reliable delivery at scale. You’ll monitor key platform indicators, resolve issues fast, and collaborate across teams to prevent problems before they happen. Your work reduces client complaints, streamlines internal operations, and improves profitability.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor platform key performance indicators (e.g., delivery performance, latency) and act quickly to resolve route issues in critical and non‑critical situations

  • Analyze quality across providers, networks, routes, and clients; implement whitelisting/blacklisting and handle spam complaints with suppliers

  • Proactively propose and implement new rules, alerts, and monitoring to prevent downtime and performance degradation

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Account teams to stabilize routes and improve feature usage and efficiency

  • Report incidents, trends, and route changes clearly; keep technical documentation and runbooks accurate and up to date

  • Share product and customer usage feedback to inform roadmap and commercial decisions

What makes you a strong fit

  • 2+ years in a technical operations/support role (routing, network operations, platform operations, or similar)

  • Working knowledge of querying (e.g., SQL), programming logic/scripting, and computer networks (TCP/IP, HTTP, APIs)

  • Analytical problem solver—comfortable digging into logs, metrics, and patterns to find root cause and fix fast

  • Customer‑centric and collaborative—equally supportive of clients, colleagues, and partners

  • Curious and proactive—always learning how systems work and how to improve them

  • Clear communicator with the ability to engage clients, suppliers, and engineering teams alike
