40POSITION PURPOSE:
Supervises Diagnostic Imaging Department (DID) and Pain Management (PM) staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care across hospital, clinic, and remote locations. Oversees safe and effective delivery of imaging and pain management services, including staff performance, technical procedures, equipment, safety, quality control, and patient satisfaction.
Works closely with DID and PM teams to uphold best practices, regulatory standards, and Joint Commission requirements, while providing education for staff and patients. May provide direct patient care for radiologic and interventional services within scope of practice.
Supports all diagnostic services and contributes to maintaining a safe, cost-effective care environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited program with current Radiologic Technology (ARRT), Sonography (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine program (NMTCB) or Registered Nurse license required.
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) required, with an advanced certification strongly preferred.
IEMA or Illinois License required, must remain current.
Five years of clinical experience required.
One year supervisory experience in relevant clinical leadership role strongly preferred
BLS required within 30 days of hire, must remain current.
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Demonstrates the knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients served on assigned unit. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served. Able to assess and interpret data about the patient’s status in order to identify each patient’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the neonate, pediatric, adolescent and/or geriatric patient group.
Compensation Range
