Description -

This role is responsible for creating drivers and applications, programs and software processes to support business operations via test tools. The role is responsible for supporting the complete software development lifecycle including design, development, installation, testing, upgrades and customer support. The role works with different stakeholders such as customers, subject matter experts, and researchers to evolve, automate, and enhance software capabilities. The role leverages technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process, from inception through transition.

Responsibilities
• Designs, codes, and debugs applications in various software languages.
• Collaborates with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal software solutions.
• Works with senior engineers in the design and deployment of software.
• Contributes to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around software engineering; executes strategic software engineering proof of concepts.
• Performs code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code.
• Identifies and resolves system operating programs in order to provide continuous business operations.
• Ensures security throughout the software development life cycle and delivers trusted products and services.
• Manages and updates issue-tracking system when gaps in code and documentation are discovered.
• Contributes effectively as a member of the team; takes ownership of individual assignments and projects with moderate oversight.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.

The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
