Key Responsibilities· Serve as a single contact point for a business operation for Japan commercial stakeholders while providing guidance on the long-term program vision for Japan
· Lead the investigation, planning and implementation of solutions that can contribute to BMS Japan by fully utilizing the Generative and Agentic AI.
· Manage the Japan Commercial Data processing platform along with the reporting platform build on AWS technology stack. Manage the report quality and co-ordinate with the relevant wider global teams, especially CRM and alignment application business owner (based in Japan), for issue resolution and communicate with Japan commercial stakeholders
· In depth knowledge and comfort working with AI technologies, AWS, Python scripting, Power BI, Databricks and MicroStrategy
· Support a new data ecosystem rollout in the market
· Partner with key upstream sources (Market, Sales Data Cleansing, CRM/SFA, Master Data Management, etc.) to ensure uninterrupted delivery of data and resolve delivery issues
· Lead and coordinate business requests on changes and enhancements, triage all the incoming requests for assignment to a specific group, track and communicate change request status
· Possess the awareness of the Technology Platform strategy and communicate with in country Biz Ops. on implementation, enhancement, or release plan
· Establish relationships with Commercialization Organizations to understand business requirements
· Clearly articulate the challenges and market aspirations through the established communication hierarchy to the global Commercialization Data & AI Solution Team
Qualifications & Experience· Requires advanced knowledge applicable to a wide range of work in own function and thorough knowledge of other functions, typically gained through a university degree and 6-8 years of experience.
· May lead initiatives related to continuous improvement or implementation of new technologies. Works independently on most deliverables.
· Responsible for the direct management of a team including results/outcomes, goal-setting, performance management, coaching.
· Has significant input into decisions related to hiring, performance reviews, promotions, and compensation actions.
· People manager level with supervisory responsibility for Individual Contributor and People Manager positions
· Responsible for a large sub-function or multiple teams doing similar work.
· Demonstrates ability to build and leverage relationships through diplomacy with a broader focus within the Function.
· Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise thereby establishing a strong reputation for themselves and the team.
· Participates in decision making and brings a variety of strong views and perspective to achieve team objectives.
· Looks for challenging opportunities and focus on building strong capabilities. Encourages and coach others to do the same.

· Native level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English is required, including the ability to participate in meetings, prepare documentation, and negotiate in both languages.
· Proven experience working in a global or multicultural environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, collaborating with both local and international teams
