Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity in RBC’s Global Security to lead the implementation and operation of brand-new security capabilities protecting third-party Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools.

As Senior Manger SaaS Security Product, we are looking to you as an experienced cybersecurity leader to help build a comprehensive SaaS Security program. You will manage the operation and improve the design and integration of a range of cloud security tools protecting RBC’s SaaS footprint. Working as part of the Cyber Technology Office team, you’ll specialize in taking full advantage of data and automation to.  

What will you do?

  • Work in collaboration with business and technology units to drive strategic value through cloud security and SaaS Security products, this includes automations to drive speed and efficiencies and real-time decision engines that improve the security posture of RBC.
  • Own and drive the strategy and long-term goals for cloud and SaaS security products, with primary focus on creating efficiencies through automation and AI. Define products’ vision including future roadmaps.
  • Lead operations including monitoring, and response to feedback, and lead the continuous improvement of products.
  • Lead interaction with different technical teams including product owners, data science, QA, and development teams.
  • Building a high-performance culture to coach, mentor and develop collaborative teams. 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience managing key control testing, risk, and compliance initiatives
  • Experience with SaaS and cloud-security concepts and tools (e.g., CASB, SSPM).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline, or a comparable combination of training, experience, and education.
  • Previous exposure to product management cycle. Ideally previous experience as a product owner.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • A relentless curiosity and enthusiasm for staying ahead of the curve in the ever changing world of cybersecurity

Nice-to-have

  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC, GCIH).
  • Hands on experience with vulnerability scanning tools
  • Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow
