As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in driving Intel's manufacturing excellence and contributing to the success of production facilities. You will lead a team of Operators and technicians, overseeing essential operational processes, equipment maintenance, and repair to ensure optimal factory performance. This role requires a proactive and solutions-oriented leader who excels in managing complex challenges, fostering team collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. By ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency, your work will directly impact Intel's ability to meet production targets and maintain our reputation for innovation and leadership in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team responsible for factory operations, equipment maintenance, and repair.
Ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of manufacturing operations while meeting production schedules.
Oversee the flow of work through the factory, streamlining processes across teams and divisions.
Act as the first responder to operational, safety, and security issues within assigned toolsets or areas.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues affecting factory operations and tool health.
Establish and implement tactical plans to meet quality and cost objectives.
Ensure effective employee staffing, including workstation assignments, shift rotations, and PTO requests.
Own shift schedules, employee training plans, and performance monitoring to maintain production readiness.
Develop long-term strategies to align manufacturing operations capabilities with future requirements.
Inspire and empower teams through clear goal setting, maintaining accountability, and fostering engagement.
Drive results by role modeling Intel values, developing talent, and creating a productive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience as per business needs or job requirements.
Min 2 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or no experience required with a Master's degree.
Proficiency in manufacturing operations concepts, equipment monitoring, and excursion management.
Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and manufacturability principles.
Technical expertise in factory floor planning, capacity planning, and disciplined execution.
This role requires you to work on 12 Hour Shift.
