Key Responsibilities: Responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the underwriting function by providing:

Strategic and pipeline planning in accordance with regional engagement plans:

  • Assist with the development of regional engagement plans
  • Coordinate underwriter business development activity to ensure alignment with regional engagement plans; monitor and report on results
  • Lead pipeline analysis/develop prospect lists using internal and external datasets/broker tools to identify target accounts and cross-sell opportunities; monitor and report on results

Data-driven support and insights to underwriters and management:

  • Create standardized data visualization templates in collaboration with distribution and business needs
  • Obtain, arrange, and analyze data from multiple sources to create standardized:
    • Monthly national and regional distribution scorecards  
    • Prep-packets for underwriter meetings with brokers (including financial results, submission activity, target accounts, etc.)
    • Management materials for broker council meetings and/or conferences
    • Quarterly success story sheets
  • Produce cohesive and strategic broker presentations to articulate core underwriting messages (financial results, how we win, call to actions, etc.)

Optimized distribution processes, tools and data management:

  • Manage Accelerate contracts and quarterly payout estimates
  • Manage CRM usage/platform (future state)  
  • Assist with the development and enhancement of Arch Abi tools
  • Assist with any ad-hoc special projects

Preferred Skills/Education:

  • Experience with data visualization, presentation and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Proficient/advanced utilization of MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI
  • Knowledge of internal Arch-specific systems and Abi tools helpful but not required
  • BA or BS preferred
  • 1-3 years experience, with up to 5 years experience preferred

Location: Hybrid or Remote (predominantly serving Midwest/West coast hours)

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$99,052-$143,012

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
