zTPF Assembler Developer

Job Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Kolkata / Noida/ Gurgaon / Pune / Indore / Mumbai

Description

  • Able to do requirements analysis, understand the business flows to translate them into Technical Requirements.
  • Able to code, edit, and debug programs, unit/integration test, deploy using zTPF Assembler, C++ TPFDF, TPFC/C++ for the assigned bugs/enhancements.
  • Migration experience from ZTPF to any other technology is highly desirable.
  • Should be able to support in shifts (if needed) and support the applications in the off-business hours & weekends.

Skills & Other Abilities:

  • Technical: 5+ years of experience in zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, TPF-C/C++, ALCS(Airline Control System).
  • Good working knowledge of zTPF-GI or IBM Tool kit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer).
  • Functional: Exposure to Airlines domain of either Checkin, Reservations or Ticketing is highly preferred.
  • Should take ownership of the assigned assignments/tasks.
  • Ability to deliver under tough project timelines when in need.
  • Able to understand Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Possess strong logical/analytical skills to address job related problems.
  • Quality Mindset, Self-motivated, Team Player and result oriented.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously interface with other teams and stakeholders.
