Job Description: 

The Role and Impact 

As an AI Software Solutions Engineer, you will contribute to Intel's artificial intelligence initiatives with a focus on Vision AI and Gen AI applications. You will work on AI solutions powered by Intel's innovative hardware and software products, supporting Edge AI adoption across manufacturing, retail, healthcare, transportation, and education industries.

Your expertise will help optimise AI model performance and enable effective solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams. You will provide technical support and validation expertise, leveraging your knowledge to integrate, test, and validate AI software and frameworks that advance edge computing capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Intel's AI solutions while working with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Integrate and optimise AI solutions on Intel hardware platforms (CPU, GPU, NPU)

- Ensure production readiness of AI applications, microservices, and libraries through validation processes

- Perform benchmarking of AI models and pipelines optimised with OpenVINO toolkit across Intel CPUs, integrated GPUs, and NPUs

- Support customers and ISVs in integrating Intel's Edge AI Suites & Libraries into their environments

- Analyse performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimisation on Intel platforms

- Work with product teams to provide validation feedback and support requirements gathering 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related specialized field, or equivalent experience per business needs.

- 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree, or 1+ years with a PhD.

- Proficiency in Python and software debugging, validation, and issue analysis.

- Knowledge of AI fundamentals, AI productization platforms, and integration workflows.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and basic orchestration tools.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work with end-to-end AI workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working as a senior engineer or in technical advisory roles.

- Knowledge of edge AI solutions, including models and pipelines optimized with the OpenVINO toolkit.

- Experience in AI development for applications, libraries, microservices, and benchmarking tools.

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with hardware acceleration for AI models on Intel CPU, GPU, and NPU platforms.
