Hetronic, a Methode Electronics Company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative 1 responsible for all customer inquiries and transactions. This position will act as a Methode front-line representative and requires professionalism, efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides order status and information support to customers

  • Enters customer purchase orders into accounting and scheduling system

  • Acts as customer representative to other internal departments

  • Acts as corporate representative to the customer

  • Works with Sales Engineers to communicate all aspects of customer orders with customer

  • Assists the Operations Manager in all duties and other tasks as assigned

  • Enters parts orders and confirm with customers

  • Generates quotes in business system from Service Reports

  • Follows-up with customers to ensure purchase orders received for all requested service quotes

  • Converts quotes to order

  • Prepares credit paperwork for review and approval

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Previous customer service experience in electronics industry preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to complete tasks independently and meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to seek out new tasks and welcome new challenges in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both written and verbal

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
