Job Summary:
This role is an Intermediate staff level position within HP's Global Responsible Sourcing Team. This individual is responsible to draft and maintain policies and supplier requirements related to Responsible Sourcing, manage sustainability content in HP's supplier handbook, lead the supplier training program, and support strategic initiatives lead by senior staff members related to supplier due diligence. The role builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders and is a champion for Responsible Sourcing across all components, parts, and products HP procures.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the update of all policies annually, works with senior staff to develop new policies as needed to meet future regulations.
Partners with colleagues across HP's Global Product Compliance and Sustainability (GPC&S) organization to maintain a current list of supplier requirements and ensure up-to-date requirements are reflected in HP's Supplier Handbook.
Develops and implements annual supplier training program across all HP suppliers and collaborates with colleagues on training content development.
Ensures effective delivery across target audiences.
Drives the implementation due diligence compliance deliverables as prescribed by senior level staff to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), Modern Slavery Transparency Statement, Mitigation and Prevention of Risks to Rights Holders)
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and coordinates with procurement and other stakeholders encountered in the performance of duties.
Education & Experience Recommended:
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Human Rights, Sustainability, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Environmental Social and Corporate Governance or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
