Job Description:

As the SVP, Head of Technology & Automation, you will drive the strategy, development, and optimization of the platforms, applications, and AI solutions that power growth, operational excellence, and financial intelligence across dentsu Media.

In this role, you will shape the future of how our teams plan, operate, and make decisions across the business—while contributing to enterprise‑wide innovation initiatives and empowering colleagues with modern, scalable, and data‑driven solutions.

What You’ll Do

Lead Technology & Automation Innovation

  • You will oversee product owners, developers, business platform specialists, and analysts responsible for more than a dozen business technologies, applications, and AI agents.
  • You will guide teams developing automation applications and proprietary media solutions while championing modern workflows that reduce data fragmentation and improve accuracy and accessibility.
  • You will test, refine, and innovate existing media technologies to strengthen operational performance.

Transform Workflows & Drive Efficiency

  • You will reimagine business workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and lead enhancements that enable financial and media intelligence.
  • You will own governance frameworks, report on outcomes, and ensure all solutions align with compliance, quality, and business goals.
  • You will provide guidance and escalation for the product roadmap—ensuring we deliver high‑value capabilities that support workforce planning and evolving business needs.

Shape Workforce Planning & Global Operations

  • You will directly manage the global workforce planning team, partnering closely with leaders in the US, India, and Argentina.
  • You will help balance organizational growth with automation‑driven efficiencies using data‑based workforce recommendations.
  • You will collaborate with global leadership to build and scale an Automation, AI, and QA organization that drives shared success.

Partner, Influence & Communicate

  • You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand ERP and proprietary systems and determine where to adopt, integrate, or develop gap‑filling technologies and AI solutions.
  • You will partner with change management teams to develop training, materials, and case studies that support technology adoption.
  • You will contribute to a community of experimentation, sharing learnings across markets and helping teams embrace an AI‑first mindset.

Governance, Strategy & AI‑Driven Growth

  • You will design and implement comprehensive governance frameworks covering process documentation, funding, program management, ethical AI standards, and risk mitigation.
  • You will help shape a talent strategy that upskills teams and supports the transition toward an automation‑first, AI‑forward workforce.
  • You will champion design, development, and delivery thinking that drives value across people, processes, and technology.

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in business transformation, media operations, or a related field.
  • Experience leading product ownership, experimentation, Agile methodologies, and cross‑functional transformation.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Dataverse, Copilot, Azure AI), development platforms, and emerging AI business solutions.
  • Strength in analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and bringing a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
  • Ability to communicate complex strategies clearly to executives and stakeholders.
  • Experience executing long‑term transformational initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, driving operational improvements, and leading teams through change.
  • Understanding of media systems, financial data structures, and decision‑making frameworks.
  • Strong collaboration skills to build alignment across diverse stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $171,500 - $263,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
