OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Product Content Creation, elevating the product-level experience

  • Drive sales and conversion for a category of business through product creation, maintenance, and elevation of the PDP experience, leveraging key customer insights and overarching category level strategy
  • Build internal and external relationships with Category Merchandising, Merchant teammates and vendors to develop elevated product level online experiences and gather the necessary product information (details, images, attribution, etc.) in a deadline driven environment
  • Examine product level merchandising strategies of key competitors and best-in-class online retailers to understand emerging online trends and web developments.  Identify gaps in same-product assets and request access where applicable
  • Customize product attribution as necessary to enhance product pages and drive conversion
  • Efficiently write original web-optimized product descriptions to drive online sales
  • Obtain, edit, and determine asset presentation to represent product thoroughly and accurately
  • Apply business knowledge to understand assortments and prioritize key initiatives on product pages
  • Apply and maintain style guides to ensure consistent product presentation within category

Business Acumen and Analytics

  • Leverage data driven insights to become the PDP expert, addressing any needs that arise within that category
  • Utilize business knowledge and reporting to prioritize workload and projects accordingly
  • Action content-related customer service issues and incorporate customer feedback to improve and enhance web experience
  • Identify product page enhancements (size charts, tech specs, videos, etc.) to aid in customer buying decision

Technical/Process

  • Delegate tasks / leverage operational efficiencies to support product creation/projects when applicable.  Adopt new process and identify ways to make existing processes more productive
  • Troubleshoot systematic and style creation issues to ensure proper display of content on the website
  • Possess thorough understanding of PIM, style creation tools and how actions taken within translate to website
  • Ability to adapt to new processes, systems and strategies as eCommerce needs evolve
  • Participate as subject matter expert within various content disciplines to drive process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-3 years of experience, including eCommerce and professional writing experience (preferred)

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Web-based software and Content Management System experience a plus

  • Basic understanding of HTML principles

Targeted Pay Range: $47,300.00 - $78,900.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
