Saxo is looking for a Product Owner for Commercial Arrangements and Inducements to lead the commercial design and execution of inducement‑related models across markets. The role is responsible for defining what is commercially possible within regulatory guardrails, based on both regulation and accepted market practice across the EU, UK, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
The role
The role combines deep understanding of inducement regulation with strong commercial judgement, market insight, and negotiation capability. You will structure and deliver attractive, compliant commercial arrangements with issuers, exchanges, and third parties, working closely with the Regulatory Product Specialist - Inducements to ensure regulatory defensibility.
You will own Saxo’s commercial inducement models and outcomes, focusing on deal design, commercial rationale, and market alignment. The role is hands‑on and externally facing, supporting senior commercial stakeholders while retaining ownership of inducement structures and their underlying logic.
This role suits someone who is commercially driven, comfortable making judgement calls in principles‑based regulation, and confident representing Saxo in complex commercial discussions.
Key responsibilities
You will define and evolve Saxo’s commercial inducement strategy within regulatory boundaries, focusing on what is commercially viable while operating within MiFID II and accepted market practice. You will own the commercial logic behind inducement models and ensure they support Saxo’s platform, client proposition, and growth priorities.
You will shape and support commercial negotiations and deal structures with external partners. Acting as the commercial owner of inducement arrangements, you will bring structure, clarity, and rationale to complex discussions.
Maintaining strong market insight is a key part of the role. You will stay close to how inducement rules are applied in practice across key markets and use this insight to inform commercial decisions.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment between commercial opportunity and regulatory guardrails.
Your background
You bring strong commercial experience from regulated financial markets and are comfortable applying inducement rules in real‑world commercial settings rather than purely theoretical or policy contexts.
You approach decision‑making with confidence and pragmatism, balancing commercial ambition with regulatory awareness.
If you bring strong commercial judgement and experience in regulated markets, we welcome your application. This role offers clear ownership and impact.
