Compensation Pay Range:

$15.16 - $22.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.  Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsible for the sales and profitability, inventory management, appearance, and overall operations of the IPO (Integrated Parts Operation) Store.  Primary objectives include providing the IPO customer with the highest standards of service, sourcing parts and services from outside suppliers as required, maintaining strict inventory control over all on-site inventory, ensuring the IPO projects a proper O’Reilly image and follows policies and procedures to ensure company is operating as efficiently as possible.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for profitability by directing team members in a manner that provides the IPO customer with prompt, courteous, and professional service. Solicit orders, sell company products and represent company in accordance with company policies.  Look for opportunities to increase internal sales volume and review customer needs to gain market share.  If applicable, schedule weekly calls to IPO satellite stocking locations, check on consignment inventory at these locations, place reorders and maintain accurate records for all IPO stocking locations with a call summary submitted weekly for review by the District Manager.

Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to the integrated location.  Work with the District Manager in progressive discipline as needed of team members under his/her supervision.  Oversees all team member development and training.

Responsible for negotiating lowest possible price with OE providers.  Identify opportunities to utilize O’Reilly products before using outside resources to maximize IPO savings.

Responsible for scheduling the proper amount of help to ensure that customers receive the best service, maintain integrated location appearance, and the integrated labor is kept to a minimum.  Develop schedule so all hours of the IPO operation are covered.  Schedule must be made based on customer service needs and eliminating overtime.  Schedule is to be monitored regularly with changes made as necessary.  Work with the District Manager to cover sick leave and vacations.  All Integrated Team Members must be available for customer support during any emergency period.

If applicable, Manager must review and approve all team members hours every day.  According to pay cycle, Manager must transmit accurate hours for all team members, so paychecks/deposits may be completed.

Must improve the skills of all team members under his/her supervision through training on Integrated location procedures, customer service and customer service programs, CounterWorks computer operations, catalogs and sales.  Monitor the completion of team member training, including Right Track Training Online and all LMS modules by due date.

Ensure the store is organized and operating according to all company policies and Integrated procedures for warranty and core returns are followed.  Credits on returns and cores must be handled daily.

Ensure all IPO team members read Team Weekly and that any information that effects the integrated location is conveyed in a timely manner.  Prompt communication is essential to efficient company operation.

Store appearance and general cleanliness is essential to maintaining an efficient integrated location.  It is the responsibility of the Manager to use the IPO Weekly Checklist to ensure all tasks are delegated and completed daily.

Provide the IPO team with accurate and timely stock adjustment recommendations.  The Manager’s comments are a necessary tool in determining inventory.  Update cost changes of OSP merchandise daily in the CounterWorks computer system.  Run weekly inventory reports on OSP product and validate the quantities on hand.  Work closely with the IPO Sales Team to eliminate overstock and obsolete OSP merchandise.

Stock order check-in Follow daily schedule for new, warranty and core returns Review the backorder file listing weekly and update superseded number information Use correct special order and phone-in procedures Correct handling of equipment repairs, shop work and labor claims Daily return audit for new merchandise and all warranties and cores Complete line changeovers as per the instructions issued Adjust inventory as needed using correct procedures Process electronic DC over/short reports accurately by the deadline.

Invoicing, credit, and stock transfer procedures New, warranty and core return control Special order system Monitor and maintain the outside purchase ledger for accuracy Ensure outside purchase card usage complies with company policy Complete monthly cycle counts Battery Rotation Annual Inventory

Must properly handle all daily IPO store accounting functions to ensure maximum IPO, corporate and distribution center efficiency: Sales Reports - All invoices must be accounted for Supplies Account - Maintained and current.

Implement loss prevention procedures in the following areas: Invoice accountability Invoicing and credit procedures Inventory accuracy and control Core and warranty procedures Outside pick-ups.

Responsible for: Truck - Using quarterly maintenance reports in addition to daily check of cleanliness Building and property - Report needs to Fleet Operation Manager Shop equipment - Keep cleaned and maintained using preventative maintenance schedule.

Responsible for: Handle daily OSP returns Verify Freight over/shorts – Add to credit memo Update technicians on open orders (including OSP orders) Check to-do list on TeamNet Complete Training assignments on TeamNet Rotate and backup flash drives Communicate issues to supervisor and IPO team.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, strong communication skills, verbal and written

Positive interaction with people

Must be organized and able to set priorities and manage time

Knowledge of automotive parts, heavy duty parts, equipment, and systems

Desired:

ASE certification

O’Reilly Store Management experience

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
