Summary:

The Associate Director, Camzyos HCP Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of HCP marketing plans across multiple channels to support the US launch of Mavacamten for the treatment of obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (oHCM). This individual will be a key member of the Mavacamten brand team and will assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs, development of business plans, product strategies, and tactical implementation. 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to, the following:

  • Drive execution of the HCP tactical plan and management of agencies/vendors

  • Work cross-functionally with commercial team members (marketing, sales, analytics, reimbursement, medical affairs, etc.) to develop and execute programs and materials to support best-in-class launch of Mavacamten in oHCM

  • Manage ad agency and other vendors in development of promotional materials and tactics

  • Manage internal review / approval process for promotional launch materials

  • Develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders and HCP customers

  • Develop and implement best-in-class speaker programs to support field sales efforts

  • Effectively partner with sales force to support in person promotion efforts

  • Contribute to the assessment of brand KPI’s to make recommendations to optimize marketing mix

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of annual brand plan

  • Monitor and evaluate competitive landscape and marketplace dynamics

  • Engage in and interpret ongoing market research projects to validate brand positioning and promotional strategy

  • Business travel may be required, up to 20%

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years industry (pharmaceutical/biotech or related agency) experience in sales, marketing or related function

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills are required

  • Acumen with scientific and clinical data, and the ability to dialogue with medical counterparts and external TLs

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate internal review processes

  • In-line marketing experience in Cardiovascular, or specialty marketing, ideally with launch experience

  • Ability to think strategically, drive execution, foster relationships and build alignment

  • Candidate must have strong leadership skills as well as excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in a complex, rapidly changing environment

  • Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize

  • Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
