What you'll do

This role will see you building relationships with business custodians, at a senior level, to benefit our clients’ interests. You’ll work with key stakeholders in the business to make sure all areas are aligned to custodian relationships, tracking and providing MI for management to review and sign off. You’ll also make sure policy and governance is adhered to around the management of dormant accounts and assets.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Monitoring performances and progress to ensure delivery and maintaining a control framework and adherence to procedures within the custody function
  • Taking responsibility for the inventory and management of the account opening, closing and amendments for custodians
  • Managing the documentation associated with custodians
  • Reviewing the due diligence process for fund services clients looking to enter into new markets
  • Managing the on-going oversight of the custodians
  • Driving the expansion of custody products
  • Acting as primary point of contact for trade settlements and parallel booking in the depositary’s books

The skills you'll need

We need someone who has experience in managing relationships within the custody area, along with an understanding of the depositary and fund administration business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be a given, as well as the ability to challenge, influence and negotiate at all levels.

We’ll look for you to have:

  • 4 years of custody experience and knowledge of all relevant regulations
  • The ability to develop working partnerships internally and externally
  • A background of working under pressure, managing diverse initiatives without comprising quality
  • The ability to participate as part of an effective team and share specialist knowledge with others to aid their understanding and decision making
