What You’ll Be Doing
Serve as a servant leader to the Scrum Team and Product Owner, supporting delivery of high‑value solutions
Remove impediments and protect the team from distractions to maintain focus and flow
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure the product backlog is well‑refined and ready for upcoming sprints
Guide and coach the Scrum Team and broader organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values
Assess Scrum maturity and help teams grow sustainably and incrementally
Support and maintain a safe, transparent, and trusting team environment
Facilitate discussions, decision‑making, and conflict resolution
Improve communication, visibility, and information transparency across the team and stakeholders
Coach the Product Owner on backlog management, refinement, and stakeholder alignment
Assist with internal and external communication to ensure shared understanding and alignment across R&D
What We Look For
First‑level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM)
At least 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role for a software development team
Strong understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement
Knowledge of Scrum patterns and techniques (e.g., burndowns, retrospectives, backlog refinement, defect handling)
Ability to distinguish between Scrum and non‑Scrum practices
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Familiarity with additional Agile approaches (e.g., XP, Kanban, SAFe)
Experience with Agile techniques: Epics, User Stories, Backlog Tracking, Burndown Metrics, Velocity, Task Definition
Experience supporting development of medical devices or regulated software, including documentation
Ability to read and understand documentation in English; fluent English required
Based in or able to work from Hungary (hybrid work environment)
