What impact you’ll make: 

• As a leader of the General Accounting and Closing team, you will be an active contributor to the list  

• Manage day-to-day Closing and accounting activities 

• Drive overall ownership and accountability regarding Controllership initiatives across GEV. 

What you’ll do  

• Lead monthly/ quarterly close procedures & reporting globally.  

• Drive timeliness & accuracy in financial closing & reporting and manage related communications with all Regions, Accounting COE and GEV HQ where appropriate.  

• Provide controllership leadership on new ERP implementations and migrations. Understand business processes and systems to help streamline and make the processes more efficient. 

• Manage cross business schedules for ownership changes and Coordinate account reconciliation activity and own metrics. 

• Manage 3-4 Accenture contractors 

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (this is a must in Hungary)or equivalent knowledge or experience  

• Major experience in audit, accounting and/or controllership 

• Strong controllership mindset. 

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial data.  

• Proven track record driving process improvements and projects.   

• Excellent communication skills.   

• Fluent English knowledge is essential   

• Excellent PC skills including Excel, Power Point, etc.  

• Experience in various GEV Financial Systems, including ERP’s – Oracle, SAP
