About Us: VML Canada, a leading global advertising agency network, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the North American Talent Acquisition team.

Job Description: As a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for a variety of requisitions across our organization. You will find top talent for TAXI Montreal VML Toronto, VML Vancouver as well as for other VML NA offices as needed. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to understand hiring needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. This position is hybrid (3 days a week in office) and requires fluency in both French and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and finalize job descriptions.
  • Pro-actively source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required.
  • Experience in the advertising industry, especially with creative recruiting, is a strong asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a  Bi-lingual Talent Acquisition Specialist or Bi-lingual Recruiter, preferably in an ad agency setting or other related fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
