St Vincent’s Health Australia is undertaking a significant cyber remediation program to strengthen and modernise our digital security foundations. We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Technical Architect to play a hands-on, high-impact role in this critical work.
This role sits within Digital & Technology and works closely with cyber security, enterprise architecture and delivery teams to design and implement robust IAM solutions across a large, complex healthcare environment.
What you’ll do
Lead the technical design and implementation of IDAM solutions across the organisation
Work hands-on with Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access and Identity Governance
Apply Zero Trust and RBAC principles to improve access control and security posture
Assess existing environments, identify risks and deliver remediation outcomes
Produce clear architecture and technical design documentation
Partner with project teams, security leaders and vendors to deliver secure, practical solutions
What you’ll bring
Strong, hands-on IDAM experience in complex enterprise environments
Deep knowledge of Microsoft identity platforms and modern access controls
Proven ability to translate business and security requirements into technical designs
Experience working in large programs with multiple stakeholders
Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
Things that work for us:
Demonstrated experience IT Asset Management, preferably within a complex environment.
Familiarity with ITSM/ITAM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, HAM, SAM).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data integrity.
Knowledge of ITIL practices, software licensing, and CMDB structure.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
