Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the desired requirements. The position demands proactive communication and problem-solving to address challenges that arise during the development process. The engineer acts as the main liaison between teams, guiding the technical direction and ensuring smooth progress throughout the project phases. This role also involves continuous monitoring and refinement of solutions to align with evolving business needs and technical standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and deliverables with organizational objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Strong experience in distributed data processing and handling large-scale datasets.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource efficiency.
- Familiarity with data pipeline development and orchestration tools.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex data workflows.
- Knowledge of integrating PySpark with various data storage systems and cloud platforms.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
