Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who can contribute to the product development, enhancement, and maintenance of Core Investment Accounting datahub and associated Info Delivery components. Candidate will be working on building Cloud based DW solutions for Front-to-Back clients in North America Region.

Why this role is important to us

The Technical Business Analyst role is responsible for driving data, functional, and process alignment across State Street Core Data (SSCD) platforms and Middle Office operating models. The role bridges business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to ensure accurate onboarding, integration, and delivery of investment data products supporting Alpha clients. The analyst works across transaction, position, reference, and accounting data domains supporting SSCD ingestion, transformation, and downstream consumption layers.

What you will be responsible for

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will

  • Elicit, document, and validate detailed business and data requirements for SSCD Middle Office use cases
  • Translate functional requirements into SSCD data model elements and mappings (e.g., trade, position, transaction datasets)
  • Perform gap analysis between upstream systems (e.g., GTM, CRD, DHUB) and SSCD canonical models
  • Drive alignment between front-office source data and SSCD standardized attributes, resolving discrepancies in field mappings
  • Define and maintain data mapping specifications between source systems, SSCD ingestion layers, and downstream consumers
  • Partner with Product Owner, Development teams, Business Operations and Client Delivery teams
  • Support SIT/UAT/BUAT cycles ensuring business validation and sign-off
  • Contribute to operational readiness for client go-live milestones and releases
  • Align requirements with client-specific configurations, SLAs, and reporting expectations

  • Ability to manage complex data dependencies and transformations

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree qualification in a computer or IT related subject with 7+ years of Experience

Work Requirement

  • Hybrid with minimum 4 days in office
  • 8:30 AM to 5 PM

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $118,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
