About the Role:

The Sr Data Management Manager, Omnichannel will serve as a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing all data management activities that enable and support the organization’s omnichannel marketing initiatives across all commercial brands. As a key member of the Commercial Data Management team, this role partners closely with Omnichannel Marketing, Analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that data platforms, models, and processes are robust, compliant, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. This position reports to the Associate Director, Data Management and plays a critical role in translating omnichannel strategy into reliable, actionable data capabilities.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end data management activities supporting omnichannel marketing initiatives across all commercial brands

  • Drive decisions and implementation of enterprise data architecture to support omnichannel capabilities, including integrations, modeling, and data flows for platforms including marketing automation, content management systems, consumer data platforms, data lake, and business intelligence dashboards

  • Serve as a primary data management partner to the Omnichannel Marketing team, supporting activation audiences, next best action (NBA) capabilities, and measurement of key performance metrics

  • Oversee the core omnichannel data platform built on Databricks, including data transformations, business rules, data modeling, and overall data architecture

  • Ensure effective governance and management of core data models and data extracts supporting integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Salesforce Data Cloud)

  • Provide data management leadership and partnership in the development and delivery of business intelligence (BI) dashboards in collaboration with Omnichannel Marketing and Commercial Analytics

  • Act as a hands-on leader, contributing directly to solution design, problem solving, and operational execution where needed

  • Oversee and manage deliverables from vendor partners supporting the development and operation of the omnichannel marketing data platform

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Commercial Analytics, Field Operations, IT, Compliance, and Legal to ensure data solutions meet business, regulatory, and technical requirements

  • Partner with other members of the Commercial Data Management team to ensure alignment with enterprise data management standards, including quality control (QC) operations, data warehousing best practices, and master data management (MDM) principles

  • Promote continuous improvement in data reliability, scalability, and usability to support evolving omnichannel marketing needs

  • Assists the department in developing Commercial Data Governance policies and identifying gaps in current data management processes and standards

  • Manages data-centric projects to resolution, through strategic planning, resource management, execution, and communication, e.g., data onboarding, data events/disruptions

  • Maintains accurate inventory of Commercial data assets, and helps build organizational awareness of the uses of the data

  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree, preferably in computer sciences, engineering, math or other technical discipline and 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech Commercial Operations, or Commercial Data Management OR

  • Master's degree preferred and 4+ years of similar experience noted above.

  • Expert knowledge of data management best practices (5+ years) and data analysis (3+ years)

  • Hands-on experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), for example, Salesforce Customer 360. This includes experience with related data platforms such as Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Salesforce Data Cloud)

  • Deep understanding of pharma omnichannel data sources, that support a next-best action approach, including: CRM (Veeva, Salesforce), digital engagement (email, web, banner, paid media, social), field force data (calls, samples, detailing), events, speaker programs, congresses

  • Strong understanding of the capabilities and processes required to support next best action approach and maintain activation ready data sets (channel attribution concepts, orchestration engines, API-based data integrations, etc.)

  • Strong capabilities in handling of consumer and patient data, including understanding of privacy requirements, identity resolution to support patient marketing activities, tokenization, probabilistic matching and related workstreams

  • High degree of comfort working with data in a variety of tools, platforms and programming languages. For example, MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, SQL, Python

  • Familiarity with a variety of data sources to support commercial pharma/biotech like IQVIA, Symphony, Definitive Healthcare, specialty pharma, specialty distributor 852/867

  • Ability to independently lead projects as well as work within a team in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with competing priorities

  • Communication skills, including ability to tailor messaging to audience (e.g., translate technical concepts and data-heavy analyses into business terms for a business audience)

  • Demonstrated expertise handling patient-level data and familiarity with HIPAA laws

  • Proven results as a project manager in major, cross-functional technology projects. Strong organizational skills and experience working and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Outstanding organizational and computer skills, including proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, are required. Working knowledge of statistical packages and software that operate on the desktop such as SAS or similar

  • Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving ability. Exceptionally detail-oriented and process-driven

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $158,100.00-$216,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
