In this role as a Principal PD Project Analyst within the Medtronic Pelvic Health & Neuromodulation Project Management Office (PMO), you will oversee the operational and analytical aspects of the entire lifecycle of product development programs across multiple businesses and servicing various business needs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to support initiatives such as pre- and post-market commercialization program planning & execution, process improvements, lifecycle management, productivity programs, and compliance-driven projects.

Job Responsibilities
Drive project and program planning, monitoring & control, and execution in alignment with established project management principles
Contribute to PMO process improvements, tools, and reporting enhancements.
Support project governance activities in alignment with and established product development process (PDP) which governs the entire lifecycle of our new product introduction programs.
Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, and priorities.
Lead or support cross-functional project meetings, including agenda preparation, facilitation, tracking actions, and documenting decisions.
Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Serve as a facilitator in resource deployment through deep knowledge of functional plans, inter-dependencies and resource demand
Monitor project progress, escalate issues, and assist with mitigation and recovery planning.
Prepare clear, leadership-ready reports, dashboards, and status updates.
Be comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization including peer-to-peer interactions within the PMO, in project and program team setting, to functional stakeholders, and executive management.
Onsite requirements: This is an ONSITE position based in Fridley, MN. At Medtronic, we believe in the power of in-person collaboration. We work onsite a minimum of four days per week, supporting faster decisions, stronger relationships, and better outcomes—together engineering the extraordinary.
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
PhD with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
4+ years of relevant project coordination, project analysis, or PMO experience.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, cross functional environment.
Experience in medical device or other regulated industries.
Familiarity with design controls, quality systems, and governance workflows.
Experience with Planview, Power BI, or other portfolio management tools.
PMP/CAPM/Agile certification.
Experience leading or influencing cross functional teams.
Strength in executive level reporting and dashboard development.
