KEY GLOBAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is hiring a Key Global Accounts Manager based in Dubai.

As Key Global Accounts Manager, you'll support Global Account team with the management of tenders, RFQ’s and quotations. Support local Africa team with local tenders as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Global Account customer management strategy .

  • Leads of RFQ and tender management procedures and processes to meet customer and ARDx business objectives within a highly networked role that requires an ability work under pressure and satisfy challenging deadlines

  • Leads collection, internal feedback related to pricing, regulatory requirements, and other elements as needed to support timely RFQ and RFI response

  • Ensure that responses are submitted by the deadline in the correct format with all the required documentations and sign-offs

  • Lead active communication with regional sales managers and relevant departments

  • Serve as effective liaison between customers and internal stakeholders

  • Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action

  • Attend sales meetings, conventions and training programs as required Accountable for maintaining CRM as well as monthly reporting and forecasting in an accurate and timely manner

  • Pull status reports from regional customer relationship management systems across all regions with ARDx Global Account representatives and ARDx legal support review and negotiation of contracts, including Long Term Agreements, Representations and Certifications, non-disclosure agreements and similar documents and agreements, maintain tracker of LTAs, non-disclosure agreements and other documents across global account entities

  • Ability to assist in updating implementing and maintaining ongoing documentation, review and improvements of contract management, tenders, RFQ’s and quotation processes

  • Manage competing resources and priorities as appropriate

  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Abbott Quality System

  • Weekly status update on CRM tools

  • Assess the current distribution channels of the Company highlighting any strengths and weaknesses that the Employee may believe there are necessary

  • Any other responsibilities allied and/or associated with the management of tenders RFQ’s, quotations and similar

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

  • Post Graduate qualification in Project Management

  • Relevant experience in Tenders, contracts and quotations preferably South Africa region

  • Good communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Proven ability to process information across diverse organizational structure

  • Self-starter

  • Experience being involved in a project from evaluation and to completion

  • Ability to nurture a close relationship with customers

  • Experience in preparing status and win/loss reports for management

  • A track record of following through on commitments

  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills

  • Strong written English language skills

  • Ability to create spreadsheets, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Force CRM
