Northrop Grumman is hiring a Program Integration - Program Manager 3, located in Chandler, Arizona. The Program Manager 3 will lead all closed area initiatives and operations. As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the Launch Vehicles (LV) business unit.

  • Direct and control the execution of all Closed Area operations
  • Provide the strategic planning for the growth of classified areas across all LV programs
  • Establish requirements and execute plans for information technology, facilities, staffing, security, and the integrated data environment at the Secret collateral level and higher
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure compliance and that all security requirements are met
  • Manage the cost and schedule for each secure area project (including customer and capital funds)
  • Provide consistency across programs for hardware and software needs
  • Develop a standard set of needs for each functional area’s engineers and support staff
  • Build strong partnership to ensure lockstep coordination with adjacent disciplines and program leadership
  • Provide direction and guidance for Cyber Security, IT, Security and facilities regarding current and future closed areas

Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must.

Excellent verbal and writing communication skills are required.

The ideal candidates will have demonstrated success in influencing the direction of technology or engineering discriminators, including identifying and championing change within the organization, to achieve competitive advantage for the business in the classified realm.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related professional experience to include a background in Program Management, and/or related military experience. Master's Degree and 7 years of experience.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (granted or renewed in the last 6 years)
  • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program within a reasonable amount of time determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree (MBA)
  • Extensive experience in Leadership roles within the Aerospace and Defense industry, or within the military.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
  • Experience establishing and maintaining ICD 705 facilities for classified work
  • Experience managing Special Access Programs

    Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
