What you will do:
Manage various aspects of the Atlassian infrastructure
Build custom applications that integrate with JIRA, Confluence, and other applications as needed
Configure JIRA and Confluence applications
Address user service requests for the applications the team supports (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, and other apps)
Drive and own architectural and system designing efforts and decisions.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand customers' needs and desired capabilities.
Be a technology evangelist to promote best practices in architecting solutions at the enterprise level by considering the latest trends in technology.
Practice and promote a culture of innovation and teamwork across the tech community.
Partner with tech leaders across teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions.
Measuring and monitoring milestones for reliability, efficiency, security, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
Directing and reviewing architectural artifacts (POCs, prototypes, and design).
Constantly expanding skills and learning new technologies required for building new solutions as part of the product intent.
What we are looking for:
3 or more years of experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence Data Center applications
Experience with configuring and installing Atlassian suite of tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
Experience with Python, Groovy, JavaScript Puppet programming languages
Experience working in a Linux environment
Familiarity with database programming (PostgreSQL /SQL Server).
Experience mentoring and teaching other Software Engineers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in (BA/BS) Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology field.
5 or more years of experience in designing and implementing complex full stack software applications.
Experience completing tasks quickly and efficiently at a production level.
Experience running and taking ownership of a large project deliverables both collaboratively and independently.
Experience reducing the complexity of projects, services, and processes to get more done with less work.
A track record as a strong influencer and thought leader in the full software development life cycle of distributed software delivery teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with cloud technologies i.e. AWS, Serverless, Event Driven Architecture, SOA, MicroServices, Microfrontend, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, and other modern technologies.
