Job description:

The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will work with various departments (Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Customer Care, Marketing, Market Access) to meet the clinical needs in the region to attract more patients to the Omnipod® Insulin Management System and keep existing patients on the product.

Responsibilities:

  • organizes patient training sessions with clinics and practices and conducts these independently
  • communicates the advantages of insulin pump therapy and trains the Omnipod® system to practices, clinics and patients in group and/or individual sessions and offers this as a further training program
  • Works closely with Sales, Medical, Marketing, Customer Care and Market Access to achieve sales targets
  • provides support at events such as diabetes congresses, self-help group meetings, information events, patient days, training courses in the office, etc.
  • provides support for development and existing customers and documents the work in the Salesforce (CRM system)
  • Supporting area sales managers with regular product demos for patients and HCPs (healthcare professionals)
  • Supporting new employees with product training
  • Planning and implementation of "Train the Trainer" courses for diabetes consultants and freelancers
  • provides feedback to superiors on market conditions and training
  • Timely completion of administrative tasks
  • Fulfillment of other assigned tasks.

Training and experience:

  • Proven experience in the training and/or treatment of pump patients or comparable training and experience
  • Diabetes consultant (SBK-ASI, DDG) is preferred
  • Previous industry experience is desirable
  • a licensed nutritionist is an advantage.

Skills/competencies:

  • professional presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Independent and flexible way of working, combined with good business acumen
  • Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community
  • basic computer skills
  • German - fluent in spoken and written
  • French - fluent in spoken and written
  • English is desirable.

Physical requirements:

  • Valid driver's license required
  • the position requires regular business travel, mostly by car within the specified region
  • Overnight trips vary by area, typically 2 - 5 nights per month
  • the working environment will be the clinics and practices in the area, as well as the home office
  • Company car is provided.
