Job Description:

  • Salary: $127,150.00 -$144,444.00 + super + salary packaging

About the role

  • Lead strategic initiatives for growth and sustainability – drive planning and strategy projects that shape the future of St Vincent’s, ensuring alignment with system-wide priorities and emerging care models.

  • Translate data into actionable insights – synthesise qualitative and quantitative information to inform decision-making, service planning, and risk assessments.

  • Monitor trends and provide strategic advice – track developments in the health sector and wider industry, delivering high-level advice to clinical and executive leadership to guide innovation and long-term growth.

  • Engage and influence stakeholders – collaborate with clinical, operational, and leadership teams to support strategy and planning activities, ensuring optimal planning outcomes.

  • Deliver robust project management and outputs – implement project management methodologies, produce high-quality plans, feasibility studies, and post-project reviews, and contribute to the Portfolio Business Plan.

About you

  • Proven planning, analysis, and project management expertise – able to deliver complex initiatives with clarity and precision.

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills – confident leading diverse teams, producing high-quality reports, and delivering compelling presentations.

  • Highly organised and results-driven – able to prioritise work for yourself and others, including contractors and consultants, and maintain productivity under pressure.

  • Flexible, self-motivated, and collaborative – thrives in a team environment, adapts to changing priorities, and demonstrates a positive, professional approach.

  • Desired understanding of State and Federal policy environments – capable of translating risks and opportunities from the policy environment into actionable local strategies.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
