The Red Hat Team is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Program Manager with business analyst capabilities who will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and analysis of programs, ensuring that projects align with organizational goals, are completed on time, and within scope. This role requires the ability to build strong partnerships, planning, project coordination, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the program performance. More importantly, this role will collaborate with cross functional teams, communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, and provide informed and insightful solutions that enhance the experiences or processes.
What you will do
Collaborate with strategic partners to ensure effective communication and execution of the ESM program.
Utilize expertise in creating project plans and schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheets.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure successful execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of deliverables.
Maintain effective working relationships, follow up with team members on assigned deliverables and collaboratively deliver results on time and to the quality standard expectations
Provide timely updates on project progress, escalation of blockers or identified synergies in accordance with defined program status and governance meeting cadence.
Provide flexibility in project management support, including waterfall and agile methods
Create and deliver tools to help visualize and communicate the future state operating model work to which you are assigned in order to maintain consistency in approach
Utilizes a deep understanding of the Service Management standards as well as knowledge of ServiceNow tool to guide and provide solutions and recommendations
Implement robust tracking mechanisms to create roadmaps and monitor progression
Create detailed as well as executive status updates regularly, highlighting achievements, challenges, and any potential risks or issues.
Proactively identify and assess potential risks associated with the execution of roadmaps and initiatives.
Develop, implement, and maintain risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
What you will do:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on service management or related areas; experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
Expertise in creating project plans and schedules with project management tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheets; Demonstrated experience in milestone tracking, reporting, and risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to synthesize and analyze information to identify potential risks and draw meaningful conclusions
Comfortable, flexible and adaptable working in rapidly changing environments and ambiguous situations
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
