About the Role

An amazing opportunity has arisen  for a Corporate Affairs Senior Specialist in Policy, Communications, and Patient Advocacy. We are on the lookout for a passionate Corporate Affairs expert eager to contribute to positive change within the healthcare sector.

What you will do:  

  • Develop and implement policy and communication strategies alongside the Corporate Affairs lead and local/regional teams within a specific therapeutic area.
  • Collaborate with brand teams to plan and execute patient engagement activities aligned with regional and local priorities.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with key policy stakeholders, including government authorities, thought leaders, non-governmental organizations, and patient advocacy groups, to address policy issues and advocate for the value of our portfolio.
  • Monitor and analyze the external environment for opportunities and threats related to the company’s product portfolio, pipeline, and overall reputation.
  • Create evidence-based advocacy messaging and manage crisis situations by proactively identifying and mitigating risks at the country level.
  • Contribute significantly to the digital transformation of our communication and engagement efforts.

What You Bring:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • A University Degree in social sciences, health, communication, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in policy and communications, with a proven ability to develop effective strategies and plans.
  • Strong experience in the health industry, particularly with a focus on vaccines.
  • Deep policy knowledge and acumen, complemented by a good understanding of the political, economic, and social landscapes affecting healthcare.
  • Business acumen related to pharmaceutical operations and healthcare policies.
  • Exceptional strategic analytical skills that facilitate the identification of priority areas for change and innovation.
  • The ability to adapt and communicate corporate narratives regarding diseases and therapies to various audiences, including policymakers and influencers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for professional interactions.
  • A proactive mindset, capable of managing internal and external communication channels while recognizing risks and opportunities.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities, fostering trust both internally and externally.
  • Proven project management and planning skills, along with experience using Microsoft Office and digital tools and platforms.
