As a part of our Founder Operation teams, you will be an instrumental member ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations at our Residency. This is a full-time role working at one of the world’s most significant early-stage VC funds.

 

About the role 

We are looking for a new addition to our team at the Helsinki office. Your role is critical to the Antler experience as you will be responsible for end-to-end execution and management of our Spring and Fall residencies – 12 week startup founder programs – managing all communications, bringing founders together, and shaping the core programming of a residency. Outside of this cycle, you will look after the second phase of the Residency for our portfolio companies. You will also play a key role in overall Platform strategy and operations, including community, portfolio support, and partnerships. 

 

Responsibilities

Residency Operations:

  • Program management and coordination: Oversee all aspects of the in-person founder residency program, including planning, logistics, scheduling, and execution. Ensure that each residency runs smoothly and meets the high standards of Antler by creating an incredible founder experience.
  • Founder Recruitment: Play a critical role in interviewing and selecting founder candidates for the residency. Assess the potential of applicants and recruit founders who align with Antler's vision and values, and who are likely to benefit most from the program.
  • Program Enhancement: Continuously seek ways to improve the residency program and the overall Antler platform in Finland. Gather feedback, analyze program outcomes, and implement changes to enhance the experience for all participants.

Platform Operations:

  • Community Engagement: Work closely with the team to enhance the Antler community. Develop strategies and initiatives to foster a supportive and dynamic environment for founders, mentors, and investors.
  • Event Management: Create and manage Antler content for founders and portfolio companies as well as our broader network. Help drive projects including events and online content to create more value for startup founders in our network.
  • External Communication: Take ownership of Slack. Coordinate with our founders ahead of the program to ensure everyone is well prepared for the start of the Residency. 
  • Cross-office collaboration: Coordinate with various stakeholders including advisors, investors, service providers, and the broader Antler team to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive program experience. You will work closely with the Antler Nordic team.

 

About you

  • You have previous experience in program management, event planning, or a related role, preferably within a startup, VC, or broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • You have startup experience – You are familiar with the ecosystem and know what early-stage founders care about and need to succeed.
  • You’re a self-starter – Taking initiative comes naturally to you. When you notice gaps you don’t hesitate to build solutions.
  • You have an eye for details – Every component of an event is important to you and you succeed in managing multiple workstreams at the same time.
  • You think like a builder – Whether that is iterating on and streamlining processes or experimenting with brand exposure, you’re always thinking about better.
  • You cultivate a community around you – The idea of bringing together talented people fires you up and is exciting for you.
  • You’re confident in expressing your thoughts to people at all hierarchical levels.
