The Financial Operations Manager plays a critical role in the design and oversight of disbursement and related processes associated with accounts payable (AP), payroll, travel & entertainment (T&E), procurement, commissions, and claims. This position ensures the efficient, accurate and controlled disbursement of funds across one or more Divisions. The Senior Financial Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, develops procedures, evaluates controls, monitors workflows, and makes decisions to optimize financial/disbursement operations.
This position will be in Omaha NE, and Hybrid eligible at manager discretion. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
What will you do?
Maintain a complete understanding of the current claim ecosystem to establish and maintain associated controls for each claim disbursement channel.
Manage the payroll function for one or more BHHC Divisions and related controls.
Oversee the T&E lifecycle for one or more BHHC Divisions.
Procurement Function Leadership
Operate as the subject matter expert over various banking/funding relationships.
Oversee the AP disbursement workflow for one or more BHHC Divisions and related controls.
Oversee integrations of various applications into existing financial information systems.
Act as the finance subject matter expert for MAR within one or more BHHC Divisions. Understand controls and their intent within the overall risk matrix.
Develop staff by progressively delegating more difficult duties and encouraging department interaction. Evaluate job performance, interview job candidates, and recommend personnel actions
