What We’re Looking For: The National Sales Coordinator, Business Development holds responsibility requiring a diverse skill set. This role handles report creation, analysis of business development data from Cvent, BI and other tools and the facilitation of group lead and funnel management for the National Sales, Senior Business Development Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the National Sales, Sr. Business Development Manager by culling and analyzing data from Cvent BI tools to identify new and existing business potential in Loews markets, but where Loews is not capturing our fair share of the business

  • Create custom reports as, as directed, through insights gained from Cvent Business Development Tools to support account development for National Sales Organization (NSO) Team and Hotels as directed by leadership

  • Liaise directly with hotel(s) on behalf of the accounts managed by National Sales, Sr. Business Development Manager to ensure timely responses and serve as a resource in the booking process

  • Liaise directly with Hotels on National Sales Leads / National Sales Lead Management on behalf of the accounts managed by National Sales, Sr. Business Development Manager

  • Assist with return phone calls, qualifying leads with additional details, and helping clients with details on upcoming groups

  • Interact directly with clients on behalf of the National Sales Director, providing additional resources at the brand level to assist the client as needed to ensure Loews Hotels provides best in class sales experience

  • Act as a proxy for National Sales, Sr. Business Development Manager when traveling to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations as well as maintain workflow

  • Manage the daily lead distribution, ensuring key accounts and regional distribution is being actioned in a timely manner and that all activity is logged in the sales systems for efficiencies and future communication

  • Oversee daily activity reports to ensure all leads are accurately attributed to National Sales, Sr. Business Development Manager and that all leads are being responded to at the property level

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and ad hoc reports as needed

  • Write (or review) and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters and customer specific communications as requested and assist with internal/external communications

  • Assist with special project tasks, including mailings, sales blitz lists and other sales related activities

  • Assist with the month end process

  • Audit Delphi FDC to ensure accuracy and proper naming/association for National Sales Account

  • Assist with Internal National Sales Offsite planning

  • Maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with colleagues and related departments

  • Following departmental and Company policies, procedures and service standards

  • Other duties as assigned

Your Experience Includes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college course work/college degree in related field preferred

  • At least 5 years of relevant administrative and client engagement experience required

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including use/navigation of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SmartSheet, having a quantitative mindset

  • Strong knowledge of Delphi FDC, Microsoft BI, Cvent BI tools, iSales Kit, and other key sales systems & technology

  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry, group business and contacts, and marketplaces in which Loews Hotels are represented and seeking to have representation preferred

  • Keen knowledge of the sales process in order to collaborate with field group sellers and execute on lead flow

  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives

  • Must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively, take a proactive approach, and anticipate needs

  • Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to maximize efforts towards productivity

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines and identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions

  • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with both internal and external clients required

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, professional, courteous and service oriented manner
