The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager supporting Solar Turbines Customer Services. In this role, you will lead a team responsible to partner with the business to solve complex challenges, and oversee our data systems, process improvements and analytics in addition to champion our global finance strategy. The position supports Customer Services leadership and worldwide overhaul operations with Solar Turbines.
What You Will Do:
• Manage a staff of four to five direct reports through coaching and guiding daily activities
• Lead Customer Services financial processes supporting the worldwide overhaul business
• Present high-level story to senior leadership, while also understanding the underlying details
• Sponsor projects to standardize and simplify processes by leveraging our digital capabilities
• Partner with the business to provide deeper strategic insights and solve challenges with a customer-oriented mindset
• Influence our finance culture by demonstrating desired behaviors, including but not limited to continuous improvement and learning
What You Have:
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Leadership: Use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there
• Effective Communication: Utilize effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
• Managing People: Lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace
• Vision for Change: See opportunities for change and establish the big picture vision as well as drive thinking and planning towards a long-term strategic goal

• Decision Making: Capable of accurately analyzing situations and reaching productive decisions based on informed judgment
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools for financial reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations as well as read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
