Role Overview

As Managing Director Commercial Operations Mexico, you will serve as the senior commercial leader for Mexico, with full accountability for commercial strategy execution, revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence.

This is a high-impact executive role requiring strong strategic leadership, financial ownership, cross-functional influence, and the ability to build a high-performance commercial organization in a dynamic and competitive healthcare environment.

Your Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Strategic Direction

  • Lead Commercial and Marketing teams across Mexico, ensuring alignment with global strategy and local market priorities.

  • Translate enterprise strategy into actionable commercial plans that drive sustainable and profitable growth.

  • Serve as a key member of the cluster leadership team, fostering collaboration across Technical Operations and G&A functions (Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, IT).

  • Inspire, develop, and retain high-performing teams while building a culture of accountability and customer-centricity.

  • Clearly communicate business priorities, strategic objectives, and performance expectations across the organization.

Commercial Growth & Market Expansion

  • Drive revenue growth and market share expansion through strategic account management and proactive opportunity creation.

  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.

  • Represent the organization at industry forums and strengthen brand positioning within the market.

  • Leverage market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and competitive advantages.

Customer Experience & Value Proposition

  • Lead the execution of the Customer Experience strategy across the full customer and product lifecycle.

  • Champion an organization-wide customer focus, embedding a consultative and solution-oriented approach.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and negotiate complex, tailored commercial agreements that balance customer value with profitability and cash flow objectives.

Business Planning & Financial Leadership

  • Own Mexico’s commercial performance, including forecasting, KPI management, and full budget accountability.

  • Contribute to annual and long-term strategic planning, ensuring alignment with global objectives.

  • Develop robust business cases for key initiatives and investments.

  • Monitor performance rigorously and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of annual targets.

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Oversee CRM implementation and drive Sales Excellence initiatives, including EDGE program USE cases.

  • Identify structural efficiencies at cluster level while maintaining strong customer-facing capabilities.

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, legal requirements, and compliance frameworks.

  • Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and alignment with all FME policies and corporate values.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in commercial operations, sales, and marketing within medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

  • Proven P&L ownership and track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth.

  • Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to execute in complex, matrixed environments.

  • Experience negotiating high-value, complex commercial agreements.

  • Solid financial acumen and expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive presence and strong influencing capabilities.

  • High integrity and deep commitment to compliance and ethical business practices.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
