Role Overview:

This is IC role position in Close & Reporting function to handle India Finance & to support audit & compliance for APAC countries in the shared services. He / She will be responsible:

About role :

  • Ability to handle India audits (statutory, Internal, tax, TP & ICFR), respond to notices from Indian tax & regulatory authorities,

  • Treasury function and

  • working knowledge on Indian Tax matters Direct Tax and Indirect Tax.

  • should be able to work closely with consultants on M&A and secretarial matters

  • support audits & compliance for APAC countries.

  • should have exposure to handle USGAAP to IGAAP reconciliation arising on account of changes in assumptions & policies.

  • Working knowledge / exposure to handle secretarial matters

  • Ensuring robust financial controls, effective & efficient processes to protect the assets of the corporation is a fundamental expectation.

  • Responsibilities will include handling statutory audits & leading adoption of new a/c standards such as IFRS & related regulatory compliance.

  • Provide support in generating & review of Consolidate Financials of the Corporation. Handling Statutory & other Audits effectively is a key expectation of this role.

About you :

  • 1 or more years of relevant experience in Audit and Tax.

  • Key competencies include strong technical accounting acumen in IND-AS, reasonable experience and knowledge in IFRS & sound knowledge of overall regulatory requirements around accounting, audits, reporting, Indian tax landscape & secretarial matters.

  • Strong Systems aptitude in ERP. This position will require effective communication skills is essential given nature of the role that deals with variety of Internal & external stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • Other relevant competencies include strategic thinking & driving impactful business results.
