Your Job:

Provide financial analytical support for MHS service lines and operational areas.

Your Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 4 years of related work experience
  • Prior experience will include: hospital analysis, knowledge of spreadsheet software (Excel, Word) Knowledge of Decision Support systems
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of projects and/or data, as required

Your Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform analysis of service line financial performance, including service line profitability, pro forma analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Support the annual operating budget process in volume planning, net revenue, and patient care expenses.
  • Develops and produces financial reports on a periodic and ad-hoc basis for management. Monitor and report on key indicators. Review and communicate trends.
  • Provide system support for the department information system utilizing Decision Support software, Performance Manager.  Update system on periodic basis and review data for accuracy. Provide trouble shooting support and enter new data into system as requested. Mentor co-workers on system.
