Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. Job Summary

Responsible for supervising the entire scope of hockey related activities: leagues, events, learn-to-play, part-time and contract employees. General responsibilities will include scheduling, supervision of programs and employees and performing various administrative and supervisory activities. Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent.

Core Responsibilities

  • Actively recruits new players and teams.
  • Maintains registration goals.
  • Schedules and supervises part-time and contract employees.
  • Acts as liaison between teams and management.
  • Oversees recruitment and training of coaches.
  • Coordinates and records registration for programs.
  • Responsible for supervision of programs.
  • Effectively uses management skills to control customer interactions.
  • Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
  • Communicates all information verbally and in writing to supervisors and subordinates.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
  • Responsible for completing all tasks assigned on time.
  • Updates player and game statistics nightly.
  • Assumes responsibility of taking disciplinary action as necessary while on duty.
  • Coordinates with director for scheduling, "Learn to Play" (LTP) and "Learn to Skate" (LTS).
  • Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
