The three main foundational pillars of our internship program are: develop, educate and network. We want to ensure each of our interns receive a real-world working experience that encourages academic, professional and personal growth.

Candidates should be versatile, eager and able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive financial and technical environment. Our interns will have the flexibility of working 2 days remotely, and 3 days in office per week at one of our state-of-the-art offices in Chicago, Kansas City, and New York City. To be eligible for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in a university or college program and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship takes place. The Client Engagement team is hiring for a Client Engagement intern.

The Client Engagement intern at Cboe will be involved in various projects supporting teams across the organization (Client Engagement, Sales, Research, Products and Business Operations). The Client Engagement team is responsible for developing and maintaining high-level relationships, providing top tier product expertise to clients and cultivating internal collaboration. The daily tasks involve solving problems, building community and providing a clear channel of communication for global clients and internal teams within Cboe.

Your responsibilities and learning objectives will be:

  • Assisting with client research and analysis.
  • Supporting the design and execution of weekly and monthly newsletters.
  • Streamlining business processes and tasks across various teams.
  • Learning knowledge of various Data and Access Solutions products.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Communications, or related field and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship takes place.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with CRM systems especially Salesforce

You’ll really stand out with:

  • Previous experience with BI tools a plus
  • Previous experience with SQL, Anaconda, and/or Python a plus.

As required by the New York City Human Rights Law, Cboe provides a reasonable range of minimum base salary for roles that may be performed in New York City. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, level of experience, etc. For New York City only, the range of starting base salary for this role is $24 to $36 an hour. Additional incentive compensation and benefits may be available.
