Summary:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Glue, PySpark, SQL and core ETL concepts. As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development practices with overarching business goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. Collaboration across various teams and stakeholders is a key aspect, fostering an environment where innovation and quality are prioritized throughout the project timeline.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Glue, PySpark, SQL and core ETL concepts.
- Cloud Platform: Strong hands-on expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services including S3, Athena, and Lambda.
- Data Architecture: Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Scripting: Strong programming skills in Python or Scala for data manipulation.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure design and deployment using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong knowledge of scalable architecture principles and best practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to implement performance optimization and cost management strategies within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines in cloud settings.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to cloud-based applications.

- This position is based at our Pune office.
