Summary  

The platform security analyst role is responsible for helping securing SAP and enterprise platforms through architecture reviews, compliance automation, risk remediation, and security reporting. Ensure SAP landscapes—including S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, and Integrated Cloud services are designed and operate in compliance with cybersecurity, regulatory, and audit requirements. 

Primary Responsibilities  

• Perform security architecture reviews for SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, integrations, and cloud-hosted SAP systems) 

• Review designs for identity, roles, transport paths, network segmentation, and data protection 

• Recommend secure architecture patterns aligned to SAP and enterprise security standards  

• Reviews SAP-focused security and compliance reports for leadership, audit, and risk teams 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience 

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SAP security, or enterprise application security 

• Experience performing security architecture or design reviews 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with SAP platforms (S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP) 

• Experience integrating SAP with cloud IAM (Azure AD, PING, etc.) 

• Exposure to compliance automation or security-as-code 

• Certifications such as SAP Security or cloud security certifications 

Key Competencies 

• Risk-based security analysis 

• Strong understanding of business-critical ERP systems 

• Ability to translate compliance into technical controls 

• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation preparation (PPT, EXCEL) and reporting skills 

• Collaboration across SAP, Audit, and Security teams
